On 2nd and 9th June 2022, the Chairman Board of Directors, Julius Bakasa Wasike, HSC, Director Anne Chilande and a few staff from the agency donated a tank to three schools under our area of geographical coverage: Mukhombe Primary School in Emuhaya constituency- Vihiga County, St.Peter’s Mukemo Primary School in Nambale- Busia County and Friends Lukhuna Secondary School in Tongaren- Bungoma County. Each school received one 5m3 tank. The tanks will benefit a total of 1450 pupils from the three schools.

Besides imploring the schools to maintain and utilize the tanks, the Chairman also promised the schools more tanks should the agency secure more funding. This will address the challenge of water scarcity thereby enabling the agency to achieve its vision which is Universal Access to Quality Water and Sanitation. Director Anne Chilande encouraged the students to strive and excel in their studies. The heads of the schools acknowledged the Agency’s act of kindness and assured to good maintenance and security of the tanks.
