Julius Bakasa Wasike, HSC held a meeting with the Governor Busia County: H.E Dr Paul Otuoma, to discuss the progress of projects undertaken by the Agency in Busia County.<\/p>\n<p>H. E Dr. Otuoma expressed his gratitude to the Agency for the excellent work in establishing numerous water and sanitation infrastructure that benefit the residents of Busia County. &#8220;The Agency has done an exemplary job in Busia County and we are ready to cooperate with you to continue provision of clean and safe water to our people,&#8221; he said. Additionally, he reported that Busia County is experiencing scarcity of water due to the high cost of electricity and urged LVNWWDA to come up with solutions to the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman Hon. Bakasa Wasike commented that the Agency is ready to partner with Busia County and other stakeholders in coming up with a hybrid solar system which will help reduce energy cost. &#8220;A hybrid solar system will make water supply cheaper.
