We are a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society for Professionals. Mhasibu Sacco’s name is derived from the word Mhasibu, a Swahili word which means ‘accountant’. The formation of Mhasibu Sacco was spearheaded by ICPAK on 16th April 1986 with the purpose of providing savings and credit facilities to our members. The Sacco has since grown to accommodate all professionals together with their spouses and children, groups, and corporates.
Since inception in 1986, our membership has grown from a paltry 37 to over 23,000 members globally with an asset base of over KES 9.5 billion driven by our purpose, promise, together winning values, and excellence.
Our success is attributed to our vision “To be a Sacco of Excellence among the best managed in the world”. Our performance-driven spirit is felt everywhere, from our sustainability, consistent growth and results, our stakeholders, our competitive products portfolio, our strong market positioning, and digital presence and being the leading NWDT SACCO in Kenya.
