Our strategy—aiming to reach over 7 million children across Ethiopia each year with programs that support their health, education, skills development, and protection—is grounded in the voices of children themselves. They have told us clearly: they want to be heard and empowered to shape the decisions that affect their lives. Underpinning all our strategic priorities is the need to ensure every child feels seen, heard, and valued by the adults who influence their future.

This strategy serves as a roadmap that guides our programs, working with local partner organizations, to address the most critical needs of children across Ethiopia in health, education, skills development, and safety. This strategy was developed in collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local partner organizations, community members, government bodies, donors, civil society organizations, private sector players, and most importantly, children and youth.
